The precautions for mould rust prevention are to avoid storing the mould in a humid environment. Anything stored in a humid place will cause a series of changes. The same is true for our mould. If we keep it in a humid place for a long time, it is useless to use any good rust inhibitor, which may eventually lead to mould rust. Therefore, when we remove the mould from the injection machine, we must pay attention to the storage environment. It is best to choose a dry, ventilated, mold rack above. There's no need to worry about the rust of the mould when it's stored for so long.
Notice for mould rust prevention: After cooling down, antirust agent can be used. It's no use spraying antirust agent before cooling down. In a few days, the mould will rust. Why does this happen? In fact, it is not the quality problem of the antirust product itself, but the reason lies in the spraying of the antirust agent before the mould cooling down, because the moisture in the antirust agent will be absorbed before the mould heating back, and the signs of rust will be produced. Therefore, the correct way is to wait for the mould to cool down naturally before using the mould rust inhibitor.
